Very easy to grow and train, will take quite a lot of frost, sometimes getting damaged at around -8 cel but will come back strongly from frostburn. One of the easiest aloes in the garden, virtually foolproof and the flowers a profuse and lovely. Any soil will do, as long as its not boggy. Rainfall irrigation is okay but like most aloes, as long as the drainage is good it looks best with quite a bit of water. Costal expose is fine here in NZ.
